Dr. Smith, Ph.D., brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the field of anthropology and sociology. With a doctorate from UC Santa Barbara, he currently shares his knowledge as a dedicated educator at Whittier College. Dr. Smith's commitment to guiding students extends beyond the classroom, as he actively mentors them to navigate the path to graduate school, leveraging his own experiences in academia.
His research delves into memory studies and the intricate dynamics of communities, with a particular focus on Vietnam veterans. As the Chief Education Officer of our tutoring enterprise, Dr. Smith's visionary leadership has been the driving force behind our mission to empower students through personalized learning experiences. With his guidance, we strive to cultivate a community where academic success and personal growth intersect seamlessly.
Patricia Cosulich-Smith, M.A.
Chief Innovation Officer
As our Chief Innovation Officer, Patricia Cosulich-Smith brings a wealth of experience in social impact, communications, leadership, education, and life coaching. With a Master's degree in Social Innovation and certification as a life coach, Patricia guides clients to realize their full potential.
With over a decade of experience as a writing tutor, she has a wealth of experience with clients ranging from the elementary through Ph.D. levels in various disciplines including humanities, science, peacebuilding, and business. She empowers students in sharing their message and provides an additional layer of support during crucial academic and professional transitions.
